The Masterclass in Teaching Adult Learners is an advanced professional development workshop for experienced adult educators and those who have completed the Successfully Teaching Adults workshop.
Building on the foundations explored in Successfully Teaching Adults, the Masterclass provides an opportunity to deepen your practice, explore adult learning theory in greater depth, and strengthen how you design and facilitate responsive, inclusive, and learner-centred learning.
The Masterclass is facilitated by Te Ataahia Hurihanganui and Tai Samaeli and draws on the ACE Teaching Standards to connect theory, reflection and practical teaching approaches.
Who is the Masterclass for?
The Masterclass is designed for:
- educators who have completed the face-to-face Successfully Teaching Adults workshop
- experienced adult educators who want to extend and refresh their teaching practice
- educators who want to explore adult learning theory and the ACE Teaching Standards in greater depth.

- deepen your understanding of adult learning theories
- strengthen your skills in designing high-quality learning programmes
- explore technology and innovative approaches to adult learning
- strengthen inclusive and culturally responsive teaching practice

The Masterclass provides space to share experiences, challenge your thinking and learn alongside other experienced adult educators.
