There are two websites that can help you evaluate the education policies of the political parties. The website The Spinoff has an interactive tool covering key policy from every political party in Election 2017. It’s called Policy NZ. The developers were driven by a desire to get beyond personality politics and provide the public with easily understood information (and more detail if you want) on the difference policies being offered by each political party.

The Education site tells us that Education is the third biggest chunk of government spending after benefits and health. Click here to look at the education policies.
